If there was a class about finding and keeping healthy relationships, I obviously missed it.
I wasted most of my 20’s and 30’s looking for love in all the wrong places, until eventually I hit rock bottom.
At that point, I knew I had to get my shit figured out and make big changes if I wanted to be truly happy, but I had no idea where to start.
Fortunately, the universe brought the right people into my life (much like it brought you to me) and they helped me realize:
ALL OF THE LOVE I SO DESPERATELY WANTED FROM SOMEONE ELSE
WAS ALREADY IN ME.
I just needed to find it.
As I began to explore where I was and how I got there, I learned a few key lessons:
I discovered who I REALLY was and what was truly important to me;
I learned how to love AND like myself;
I mastered the art of setting boundaries;
I improved my communication skills dramatically;
And I gained a TON of self confidence in the process.
I did it and you can too.
Once I improved my relationship with myself, all my other relationships started to change too.
And I’m not just talking romantically.
I discovered who my true friends were and how to foster those relationships.
I learned to appreciate my family more and grew closer to them.
I started getting along better with my co-workers.
And yes, eventually I found the love of my life and we lived happily ever after.
I tell you this because I want you to avoid any more pain, misery and suffering than you’ve already been through.
Despite the cliché, you don’t have to hit rock bottom before you can rise up, but it does take work.
It’s the most important work you can do.
It wasn’t easy. It was actually really hard. But in the end, it was SO worth it.
Along the way, I met a Coach who helped me change the way I thought about myself, the way I felt about myself, and the way I showed up in the world. She helped me change my life.
I realized then…
It really doesn’t have to be this hard!
After working with my own Coach, I knew I could help other women just like me, who were experiencing the same struggles, move to a much better place and feel the same way I now felt.
In 2016, I became a Certified Life Coach and member of the International Association of Professional Life Coaches.
